    Made in Hong Kong, Chef Olivier Elzer’s specially designed "Robert Gold - Turnip Cake with Black Truffle and Cepes Porcini" is based on the turnip cake that Hong Kong people love to share with their families on reunion days. The finest and premier materials are carefully selected to bring new ideas to Hong Kong people’s Turnip Cakes, or to become our new classics.

    The turnip cake of the O Chef Lab is carefully researched, experimented for the best mix of ingredients by Chef Olivier Elzer. The taste is refreshed without departing from the tastefulness and softness of the turnip cake. Adding black truffles and porcini mushrooms from Italy, the delicious mushroom flavor adds the finishing touch to the turnip cake.

    The sweetness of turnip is a perfect match with Italian black truffle and porcini mushrooms. The darker color of the turnip cake is caused by the mixture of black truffle and porcini inside, so it is normal.

    As a French and German descent, Chef Olivier Elzer has high requirement standards for western sausages and Chinese sausages. He insists on using "ultra-lean sausages", that is, in a sausage, the ratio of fat to lean pork is 2 to 8. (Usually is 3 to 7 in market), the sausages are all made fresh and do not contain preservatives, so when you eat every bite of the sausages, you can still taste the flavor of pork. Chef Olivier designated to use pork from Netherlands to make sausages.

    Other ingredients include dried Japanese scallops, Chinese mushrooms and dried shrimps.

    We also carefully selected Taiwan’s 東泉 Chili Sauce and Vewong thick soy sauce. We recommend that you try them. These sauces are popular choices for Taiwanese people to eat with turnip cake, with their sweet and spicy taste. 東泉 chili sauce is sweet first and then spicy. The soy sauce is a dark soy sauce with sweetness in it. The portion we sent is definitely enough for you to cook with other dishes for a full month.
